IVM Chemicals joined the European Union Programme with the Life BioPaint  Project in order to develop UV wood coatings with bio-renewable raw materials, for whose production it estimates a 30% annual reduction in CO2 emissions, calculated on the basis of the Life Cycle Assessment of its current processes.

The results of the Life BioPaint project were presented in a webinar dedicated to industry professionals, representatives of institutions and the scientific and research community.  At the focus of our speakers' presentations was the 360° vision of sustainability, which took the form of a fully automated closed-circuit plant that will enable the development of UV wood coatings using bio-renewable raw materials of plant origin not intended for human nutrition.
